Judy Reynolds of SightSavers International, Rebecca Muston and Natalie of ORBIS Welcoming Me Home

The loss of one's sight is the one faculty that none of us can do without as we then become totally dependent on others to look after us from feeding to going shopping or crossing the road.

I chose Sightsavers International and Orbis, as although they do the same work, they operate in different countries.

These charities work with NGOs in the Third World countries building clinics, providing the sophisticated equipment, training the Surgeons to perform operations such as Cataract operations and training Nurses in preventative eye care as well as after operation care.
